Steps to successful exterior painting: 

1. Clear communication with homeowner as to what they want. 

2. A clear written estimate detailing the homeowners requested job with the homeowners approval. 

3. Prep, prep, prep! Ensure surface is properly prepared before applying any paint. This can mean, scraping, and sanding away old paint flakes. Wiping down dirty surfaces. Removing downspouts. Taping and masking off areas that do not need paint. Caulking in gaps and filling in holes

4. Apply primer and/or paint with appropriate amount of coats.

5. Clean up. 

6. Appreciate job well done with the homeowner who is now very satisfied.
